Ken has been the lead pastor at HFC since April 2017. Ken began full-time ministry in 2002 as youth pastor in NE Pennsylvania Before he was called to ministry, Ken traveled the US as a Sham Wow salesman! Ken is a graduate of Cedarville University and has a Master’s degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ken is married to Tara and they have three adult children: Katelyn, Anna, and Jake.
Where were you born?
Fairmont, WV
When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to be a professional baseball player. My dream in high school was to go to Arizona State University. I wanted to walk on the baseball team and then get drafted by the Cincinnati Reds.
What are two things nobody would guess about you?
I have been to every state in the U.S. except Alaska, and I was on American Ninja Warrior.
What are three things you cannot live without?
Jesus, coffee, and a good workout
What is some of your favorite music?
I love all music from the 90’s!
What is one of your guilty pleasures?
I love reality TV. One day, I will be on the show Survivor!
What is your favorite place to eat in Springfield?
My favorite place to eat is Chipotle!

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. Galatians 2:20
